$10,000 per gallon

We all know that inkjet printer ink is expensive when we pay $10-$30 for a cartridge at Office Depot, but if you do the math you’re paying $10,788 per gallon (for HP magenta ink which holds the most-expensive crown). I can’t think of any liquid that is more expensive – definitely nothing that’s as readily available as inkjet ink – anyone got any ideas?

And the only thing more valuable than scorpion venom? RADIOACTIVE scorpion venom!

But seriously, what makes scorpion venom so valuable? Is it just scientific value or is there some black market for venom like there is a black market for buying illegal snakes. (If you don’t believe me about the snake black market, you should watch Snakes on a Plane for proof that such a thing really does exist.)

On second thought, don’t watch Snakes on a Plane just because I said so. I won’t be held responsible for that.
